Today, the Sterling High School Madrigals had the honor of performing at the Veterans Day Ceremony held at the Centennial Auditorium. The event, hosted by the Sterling American Legion, brought our community together to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. The ceremony opened with remarks from Mike Wolber, who spoke beautifully on the character of a veteran—highlighting their courage, dedication, and resilience. Please make sure the girls are keeping communication with us in regards to absences so we know if they are excused or unexcused. If they have missed 3 unexcused practices, they are dismissed from the team (per the CMS athletic handbook). Eligibility was run this afternoon. If your athlete is failing a class, they are required to attend study tables all next week until 4:00. They are then to attend practice afterward. Failure to show for study tables and practice afterward counts as an unexcused absence. If an athlete is ineligible 3 weeks in a row, they are dismissed from the team as well.

Hello all, Sorry for the late message but I was just made aware of this change for this year regarding after the games. In order to take your child home instead of the bus you will need to have printed off a release form from 8 to 18, and have it filled out. If you go to 8 to 18 via the district page, and then click on resources at the top and it is the second selection down. Thank you.
