Huge thank you to our CMS students for donating their $1 towards blood cancer research! Ducting taping the Principals to the wall was pretty exciting too!


CMS is collecting Pennies for Patients! This is to benefit the leukemia and lymphoma society which helps individuals diagnosed with blood cancers. Next week we will be tapping the Principals to the wall! Bring your spare change or dollars for a donation.

Tomorrow begins 2nd semester! This is a great opportunity to continue the progress students have made so far, or use it as a clean slate! Both grades and behavior points reset. Keep in mind that student assignments/assessments the first few weeks of school can significantly impact eligibility for extra curricular activities. We can’t wait to see you back at school tomorrow!


Girls Basketball Registration is now open for CMS Girls Basketball at https://il.8to18.com/ChallandMS/. Practice will begin January 6th 2020 at 3:15 in the Athletic Center.

Practice will run Monday- Friday's 3:15-5:15. I ask that wrestlers bring their own water bottle.

Attention: All students that are signed up for the YMCA day camp for Friday, 11/15/19 should bring a swimsuit, if they would like to swim.

7th grade boys started a Knock Out tournament today while stuck inside for activity time!

Sterling Public Schools will all have a 1/2 day on Friday, November 15 as the Sterling Volleyball Team competes at State. The YMCA will provide free childcare to any K-5th grade student. Details to come! Congrats, girls!
