PBIS Certificate

During the first week and a half of school, students reviewed Washington PBIS expectations. These include being respectful, being responsible, and being safe. Aside from talking about what these behaviors look like in the classroom, students also toured the school and practiced these expectations in the gym, playground, hallway, restrooms, and common areas of the building.

Teachers were asked to identify who the PBIS Superstar from their homeroom was, and these students were recognized during a virtual ZOOM assembly Friday and received a certificate and small gift bag. We appreciate each and every student who makes Washington a respectful, safe place by taking personal responsibility to do the right thing!

Next month, we will focus on maintaining a positive attitude in and out of the classroom.
