Washington School recently recognized students who are achieving in reading and math. Students who read independently can take quizzes through Accelerated Reader; when they can demonstrate their comprehension, they earn points. Students with select numbers of points are recognized as part of our point clubs and earn books, reward certificates, treats, etc. AR Point Clubs are updated monthly. #readersareleaders
Washington has recently begun to recognize our "Math Masters" as well -- these students are recognized when they complete and pass their iReady lessons, which are specifically designed to meet a specific student's needs. Math Masters are recognized each quarter -- we are so proud of the extra effort students have been putting in!
