Welcome Abby Cox as the new Dean of Students at Jefferson Elementary School!
"I am a wife, mom and educator. My husband Terry and I live in Sterling with our two children, Ruthie and Colt. Although this will be my first year as Dean of Students, it is my 13th year in the field of education. I taught special education at Oregon High School for 4 years and then, at both Merrill and Dillon Elementary schools in Rock Falls, for the last 8 years. During my teaching experience, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and also a Director of Special Education endorsement. I am very excited to be joining the SPS team and looking forward to drawing from knowledge and experience to make a difference for students, their families and the community!"
