Welcome Kristy Witmer back to Jefferson and Lincoln as the Art Teacher!
"I am Kristy Witmer, once upon a time Kristy Gustafson or Miss G, and I started teaching at Jefferson in 1994 in Kindergarten, straight from Illinois State University. In the Fall of 1999, I went to Franklin for Second Grade. Starting in 2011, I stayed home to be a mom and farm wife. Then in the 2016-17 school year, I enjoyed subbing. In the Fall of 2017, I became a First Grade teacher at Dillon School. I am now coming back to Sterling, full circle, to be the Art Teacher at Jefferson and Lincoln. I love art and giving students a place to explore their creative side. I am married to Tom Witmer and we have two great kids! Gracie is a sophomore and Grady is in 8th grade at Sterling."
