Emily will be the Social Worker at Franklin Elementary School.
"I am thrilled to be joining the SPS team to support and grow the children in our district. I was born and raised in Sterling where I have served both as a social worker and administrator for local social service programs with youth and seniors along with those in hospice care. I graduated from Aurora University with my Bachelors of Social Work along with my Masters of Social Work and am obtaining my LCSW licensure. My greatest accomplishment is my family. I have been married for nearly 23 years to Adin and have two amazing children, Brice and Alena. My hope for the new school year is that each student feels supported, valued and seen. I look forward to being a support to the students, families and fellow staff."
