Career Cruising is a web based program that allows students to research careers, colleges, and majors that fit their needs and interests. The counseling department at Sterling High School uses this with students who are struggling to determine what they want to be when they grow up. Career Cruising gives students the ability to match their likes and dislikes, interests and hobbies with careers. Students are then able to sort through colleges based on their major program offerings, location, size, and type of school.

The counselors recommend that students use Career Cruising to set up a portfolio so that they can go back on many times without having to do the assessments and searches multiple times.
