The "Book River" catalog is for parents and teachers. It includes books at Lincoln Library and Sterling Community wide catalog.

Click the Follett eBooks graphic to access electronic books on a computer or reader with Internet
access. Call 815-625-6800 X1484 for login information.

Animated, interactive books. Tumblebooks work with Flash,

but click on "Home" to access Ipad compatible books.

World Book Web

World Book; in English or Spanish. The electronic encyclopedia includes articles, games and educational videos links.

  • Download the files to your Mp3 player and listen on the go,
  • Listen to the Mp3 files on your computer,
  • View the text on a webpage and read along as you listen,
  • Print out the stories and poems to make your own book.

Boys and Literacy - Research and book lists on boys and literacy.
