Sterling Schools Bilingual Advisory Committee is made up of a representative group of building staff from Wallace Educational Center, Jefferson Elementary, Washington Elementary, Challand Middle School, Sterling High School and a representative group of parents and community members.

Role of Advisory:

• research and development of identification process, entrance/exit criteria, parent/teacher inventories
• opportunity to offer input as parents and teachers regarding the program to assist in the development of program recommendations
• opportunity to provide feedback from parent, teacher, and student point of view on program development, design, implementation, etc.
• Director of Student Services will share feedback with the Education Committee of the Board and Superintendent for review to aid in decision making concerning the program

 

Papel del Comite Consultivo:

• Investigacion y desarrollo del proceso de identificacion, reglas de entrada/salida del programa, lista de padres/maestros
• Oportunidad para que los padres y maestros contribuyan con sus recomendaciones para desarrollo del programa
